X-Block Technical Information
X-Block creates, monitors and controls a closed pneumatic circuit between itself, a small air tank and any number of actuators connected to it.
Movement of the actuator is still maintained by its control valve which will supply compressed air on its 'working' stroke. However, the compressed air used to return the actuator on its 'non-working' stroke is now sourced from X-Block.
Hydraulics and pneumatics is our business, achieving better results with newer technology

This is where the savings are originated. In all conventional control systems, the compressed air utilised in moving the actuator in both its working and non-working stroke will be exhausted to the atmosphere every cycle.
When X-Block is employed on the non-working stroke, the actuator will not require a 'fresh' charge of compressed air that will then be exhausted, it will instead be using a 'volume' of air at much lower pressure which will be continually re-used each cycle.
Because of this only half the cycle requires fresh compressed air, the savings equate to 45 - 50%
